They finished second in the Scottish League with a record of 12 wins from 18 matches. The club ended the season without the Scottish Cup after being beaten at the quarter final stage by St Bernard's, 3–2. They had previously defeated Annbank United and Dumbarton during the cup run. Rangers Football Club are an association football team based in Glasgow, Scotland, who currently play in the Scottish Premier League. The club are nicknamed the Gers, Teddy Bears (from the rhyming slang for the same) and the Light Blues, and the fans are known to each other as bluenoses.
