They finished third in the Scottish League Division One, behind Celtic and winners Hearts, with a record of 10 wins from 18 matches. The club ended the season without the Scottish Cup. They were knocked out of the first round by Hearts, losing 2–1 at home. Rangers Football Club are an association football team based in Glasgow, Scotland, who currently play in the Scottish Premier League. The club are nicknamed the Gers, Teddy Bears (from the rhyming slang for the same) and the Light Blues, and the fans are known to each other as bluenoses.
