High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The 1967 Australian Grand Prix was a race held at Warwick Farm Raceway on February 19, 1967. The race had 15 starters. New South Wales Governor Sir Roden Cutler VC AK KCMG KCVO CBE, in his victory presentation speech aptly named the 1967 AGP as the "Scottish Grand Prix" after Scots Jackie Stewart and Jim Clark finished 1–2. It was the thirty-second Australian Grand Prix and doubled as round six of the 1967 Tasman Series. Jackie Stewart started the race on pole and drove the race's fastest lap. The Australian Grand Prix is a Formula One race that is part of the annual FIA Formula One World Championship. It is held at the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit at Albert Park in Melbourne. Prior to its inclusion in the World Championship it was held annually from 1928 to 1984 at various venues in Australia. It was a centrepiece of the Tasman Series from 1964 to 1969 and again in 1972 and was a round of the Australian Drivers' Championship in a number of years from 1957 to 1983.
