In Europe they were knocked out the European Cup in the first round by Czech side Sparta Prague. They lost on away goals rule after tying the match 2–2 on aggregate. Rangers Football Club are an association football team based in Glasgow, Scotland, who currently play in the Scottish Premier League. The club are nicknamed the Gers, Teddy Bears (from the rhyming slang for the same) and the Light Blues, and the fans are known to each other as bluenoses.
