The 2000 Dutch TT was the eighth round of the 2000 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on June 24, 2000 at the TT Circuit Assen located in Assen, Netherlands. The Dutch TT (Tourist Trophy) is a motorcycling event, traditionally held on the last Saturday of June at the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands, as part of the MotoGP World Championship. In the past all classes (50 cc, 125 cc, 250 cc, 350 cc, 500 cc and sidecars), nowadays only the 125 cc, Moto2 and the MotoGP. The circuit where the race is held is known as "The Cathedral" of motorcycling.
