Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The 2004 FIA GT Brno 500 km was the fifth round the 2004 FIA GT Championship season. It took place at the Brno Circuit, Czech Republic, on May 30, 2004. The Masaryk circuit (Czech: Masarykuv okruh) or Masarykring, now referred to as the Brno Circuit, is a Czech racing circuit located close to the city of Brno at Kohoutovice. It was used before and after WWII for events such as Grand Prix Masaryk measuring up to 19 miles (31 km) in length before the existence of Formula One. It was formerly the site of the pre-war Czechoslovakian Grand Prix and is now used primarily for motorcycle races. in 1962, the track was shortened again to 8.66 miles (13.94 km). The modern track circuit also held the second round of the second season of the A1 GP series. Still, the annual Grand Prix of the Czech Republic is the most important event held there.
