The 2005 Monaco GP2 round was a GP2 Series motor race held on May 21, 2005 at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo, Monaco. It was the third race of the 2005 GP2 Series season. Polesitter Heikki Kovalainen after unsuccessful pit-stop finished only fifth, but he was able to set the fastest lap. Irishman Adam Carroll, who started third, win the race ahead of Gianmaria Bruni by 0.657 seconds. In the first time in GP2 competitions on the third step of the podium went Nico Rosberg.
