It was a series of international invitational competitions in the first half of the figure skating season. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men`s singles, ladies singles, pairs, and ice dancing over six events. Skaters earned a certain amount of points per placement. The top six scoring skaters or teams at the end of the series competed in the 2007–2008 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, held in Turin, Italy.
