ABC telecasts the race beginning at 1 PM US EDT and MRN along with Sirius Satellite Radio provided radio coverage starting at 1:15 PM US EDT. Jimmie Johnson won the pole and won the race. The race featured Joey Logano rolling over several times in turn 3 and thus brought out a red flag, less than 30 seconds after the caution was waved, Logano walked away from the wreck.
