High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The Adaro 1.E.7 Chirta was a Spain military trainer aircraft built shortly before the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. Designed in response to a Spanish Air Force requirement as part of its modernisation programme, the Chirta was of conventional biplane configuration, seating the student and instructor in tandem open cockpits. Completed in July 1935, it was evaluated against the Gil-Pazo GP-1, Loring X, and Hispano-Suiza E.34. It came third in the trials, meaning that no production contract was awarded. No further examples were built, and the sole prototype does not seem to have survived the Civil War.
