Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Aerfer Leone (Italian for Lion) was a fighter designed in Italy in the late 1950s. It was a final attempt to develop the Aerfer Sagittario 2 into a workable aircraft. Like other European fighter prototypes of the era, it was planned to use a rocket engine to provide additional thrust, just as its predecessor, the Ariete had used a secondary turbojet. However, the project was abandoned before a prototype could be built.
