The Aufklarungs- und Gefechtsfahrzeug ("reconnaissance and combat vehicle"), sometimes also called the Serval, is a significantly modified version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class procurred by the German Army for the KSK special forces in 2003. It is produced by the German company Rheinmetall and 21 vehicles were delivered to the KSK with additional vehicles delivered to the reconnaissance detachment of the Swiss army.
