The Airmax Sea Max is a Brazilian-manufactured single- engine Light Sport amphibian. The Sea Max was developed in the mid 2000s and is constructed using composite materials and metal components. It has a two-seat side- by-side cabin which is covered by a one-piece clear canopy which is raised for access. The wing is high-set and the tailplane is mid-set on the tail fin with two auxiliary finlets inserted. The aircraft's tricycle undercarriage is fully retractable for landings on water. It is powered by a Rotax 912ULS pusher engine installed above the wing to avoid water ingestion.
