On November 27, 1895, Alfred Nobel signed his last will in Paris. The Nobel Foundation was established in 1900 based on the will of Alfred Nobel. Since 1901, the Nobel Prize has been honoring people (except few years in between when the prize money was allocated to the Special Fund of this prize section) from all corners of the globe for outstanding achievements in physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, and for work in peace.
