It is a sequel to Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo. On July 24, 2008 on riverscuomo.com, an entire list entitled "The 4 and 5 star demos of river como" was posted, with certain songs designated as songs that either appeared on Alone, Buddyhead`s Gimme Skelter compilation, or Alone II. Soon after the list was posted, the site was redirected back to Cuomo`s MySpace.
