It resulted from the merger in July 1929 of the Cameo Record Corporation: (Cameo Records, Lincoln Records and Romeo Records); the Pathe Phonograph and Radio Corporation: (the US branch of Pathe Records and Perfect Records); the Plaza Music Company: (Banner Records, Domino Records, Jewel Records, Oriole Records, and Regal Records); and the Scranton Button Company, the parent company of Emerson Records.
