High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The civilization of ancient Egypt has been an archaeological interest for decades, namely because of its unique culture. But, this civilization is also credited with being among the first groups of people to utilize agriculture. The people of Egypt were probably originally roaming hunter gatherers who slowly transitioned to being full-time agriculturalists. This transition was made possible by the geography of the Nile Valley. By utilizing the seasonal flooding of the Nile river and planting both native and introduced crops, the Egyptians were able to build up a great civilization that survives even today .
