The character was originated by actress Finola Hughes on April 10, 1985. In 1991, Hughes was suddenly fired, and the role was then briefly portrayed by Camilla Moore from December 20, 1991 to January 20, 1992. The character "died" off-screen a month later. Hughes then returned to the role briefly in 1995, 2006, 2007 and 2008. From March 2, 2001 to September 11, 2003, the character appeared on All My Children.
