Bilimbique

A panorama of old Mexico... a daughter discovers a yellowed manuscript in her mother`s handwriting describing, long years ago, a brief intimate encounter between a young English woman and a member of Emiliano Zapata`s Revolutionary Army. Truth or fantasy? A Biblimbique, a one peso bill printed by the Provisional Revolutionary Government in 1914, is found near the manuscript. If the story is fiction, why has this particular bill been conserved? The author has crafted a moving tale of a period during the rule of the President Porfirio Diaz, which she writes with intimate knowledge and a deep understanding of Mexico past and present.
