Exposure to vibration has been linked to interference with activities, discomfort, health problems and injuries. Whole-body vibration is caused by vibration from machinery passing to and through the human body. Many workers with occupations in the transportation, construction, and agricultural industries are at risk of health problems associated with exposure to vibration.
