This is a list of the bird species recorded in Macedonia. The avifauna of the Republic of Macedonia includes a total of 335 species, none of which are introduced, accidental or endemic. 16 species listed are extirpated in Macedonia and are not included in the species count. This list's taxonomic treatment and nomenclature follow the conventions of Clements's 5th edition. The family accounts at the beginning of each heading reflects this taxonomy, as do the species counts found in each family account.
