The "line" is really just a connector extending the BMT Broadway Line from the 57th Street – Seventh Avenue station's express tracks to the Lexington Avenue – 63rd Street station, where it stub-ends. A scissors crossover located just west of the Lexington Avenue station enables trains to switch between this line and the IND 63rd Street Line where the F service currently runs.
