It uses a water-based transit system, manufactured by MACK Rides, which takes riders around the factory through different scenes. The ride opened in 1990 under the name of Professor Burp`s Bubbleworks, and the ride`s construction and design was managed by John Wardley. In its former years, Professor Burp`s Bubbleworks was a based on a fizzy drinks factory, run by the main character, the eccentric `Professor Burp`. The ride was refurbished for the 2006 season with a new soap-based theme.
