She later competed in the Miss USA pageant of which she placed in the top ten. Born in Lubbock, Texas and then raised in Dallas, Texas, Crawford is the younger sister of the actor Chace Crawford, from the television show Gossip Girl. Crawford attended Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, TX. She competed in the Miss Texas Teen USA 2003 and 2005 pageants, placing third runner-up in both competitions.
