It is the sequel to the 1995 film Carnosaur 2, and the third installation of the Carnosaur series. It was the first of the series to not get a theatrical release. The film is the last in the series, but was followed by an unnoficial sequel, called Raptor in 2001, which included re-used footage from the series.
