Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Ragazzi's Cylindrical Skink, (Chalcides ragazzii) is a large, pentadactyl (that is, it has five digits on each limb) species of skink. It lives from Algeria (Ahaggar Mountains), Niger, northern Somalia and northern Kenya to Ethiopia, Eritrea, and south-eastern Sahara. It was named after the collector of the holotype, Dr. V. Ragazzi. Skinks are the most diverse group of lizards. They make up the family Scincidae which shares the superfamily or infraorder Scincomorpha with several other lizard families, including Lacertidae (the "true" or wall lizards).
