Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Chevrolet Monza is a subcompact, four-passenger automobile that was introduced September 1974, and produced for the 1975 through 1980 model years. Monza is based on the Chevrolet Vega, and shares Vega's wheelbase and width, and was produced with H-Body variants Buick Skyhawk, Oldsmobile Starfire and Pontiac Sunbird. It competed with other sporty coupes including Toyota Celica, Capri, Opel 1900 Manta, and the down-sized Ford Mustang II, as well as the rotary-engined Mazda RX-2, Rx-3 and Rx-4 coupes. The Monza nameplate was originally used for the Chevrolet Corvair.
