High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Coleophora albidella is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found in all of Europe, except the Balkan peninsula. The wingspan is 13–16 mm. Adults are on wing from June to July. The larvae feed on Salix repens, Salix aurita, Salix cinerea and sometimes Salix caprea. The larvae bore into expanding leaf buds and later skeletonize young leaves. Sometimes they mine a leaf in the usual manner of other Coleophora species.
