While formulating the MAS design, managements should always ask themselves a very fundamental question- “what are the common determinants of MAS design?” Lot of stuides has identified the influences brought by firm’s contextual variable on their selection of MAS. And with no surprises, most of the these studies also found that there must be a sensible match or link between firm’s unique contextual variables and information dimensions of MAS design. As it is normal for firms among various countries/regions will respectively choose to improve certain aspects of information characteristics, our next question is “what is the main dimension focus for different firms while formulating their MAS design?” Furthermore, it is also critical that we examine the resulting effect brought by the implemented MAS to the organization. Main purpose of such examination is to answer the question of “what is the relation between common determinants and post-implementation impacts?”
