He was Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Home Army (Armia Krajowa) or AK, after the failure of the Warsaw Uprising (Oct. 1944 – Jan. 1945). Fieldorf was executed in 1953 by the Communist puppet regime installed by the Soviet Union in Poland.
