One of the sisters, the author`s great, great, great-grandmother, Euphemia Grieve, married and built an octagonal home in Miskoka, Ontario. Her witch ancestors practiced theosophy, whose mandate includes the re-awakening of humanity`s psychic gifts, to reinvigorate the unexplained laws of Nature.
