The Fever Crumb Series is the title of an ongoing series of novels written by the British author Philip Reeve, and is the prequel series to his critically acclaimed Mortal Engines Quartet. The series so far comprises three books - Fever Crumb (2009), A Web of Air (2010) and Scrivener`s Moon (2011), all of which follow the adventures of the teenage girl Fever Crumb in the very-distant future as she watches - and plays a part in - the creation of the first traction city.
