High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! George Child Villiers, 5th Earl of Jersey, GCH, PC was a British and Irish peer and a Conservative politician. He was the son of George Bussy Villiers, 4th Earl of Jersey and Frances Twysden. He attended Harrow School and obtained a Masters of Arts degree from St John's College, Cambridge. He was an ardent fox hunter and a breeder and trainer of horses, owning several Epsom Derby winners, including Bay Middleton and Glencoe. He was Gentleman of the Bedchamber to the Prince of Wales in 1795.
