One of the largest districts by size, it takes in most of the southwestern fourth of the state of Georgia. The district includes portions of Lowndes (see also Georgia`s 1st district), Muscogee (see also Georgia`s 3rd district), and Worth Counties (see also Georgia`s 8th district) and all of Baker, Brooks, Calhoun, Chattahoochee, Clay, Crawford, Crisp, Decatur, Dooly, Dougherty, Early, Grady, Lee, Macon, Marion, Miller, Mitchell, Peach, Quitman, Randolph, Schley, Seminole, Stewart, Sumter, Talbot, Taylor, Terrell, Thomas, and Webster counties.
