It is located in the south of Singapore next to the HarbourFront Centre, previously known as the Singapore World Trade Centre. It currently serves as a terminal station of the North East MRT line and will serve as the a terminal station for the Circle Line. It is currently operated by SBS Transit on the North East Line and will be operated by SMRT Corporation on the Circle Line.HarbourFront Station is next to the HarbourFront Centre and VivoCity, and is connected to Sentosa by cable car. Buses to and from Sentosa do so from a bus interchange next to the station. The Sentosa Express monorail line to Sentosa is also be an interchange for this new line. Opened on January 15, 2007, Sentosa became more effectively linked with most of the towns of Singapore.
