Havergal College is located at the intersection of Lawrence Avenue and Avenue Road. Havergal was founded in 1894 by a group of men led by The Honourable H. Blake. It is named after the hymn composer, author and humanitarian Frances Ridley Havergal. The current Principal is Dr. Susan Groesbeck. The school's mission is "Preparing young women to make a difference."
