HMAS Stuart (formerly HMS Stuart) was a British Scott-class destroyer leader, laid down by Hawthorn, Leslie and Company at Newcastle upon Tyne in England on 18 October 1917, and launched on 22 August 1918. Stuart served in the Royal Navy from 21 December 1918 until 11 October 1933, when she was transferred to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). After decommissioning in 1938, Stuart was reactivated in 1939 and served during World War II as part of the "Scrap Iron Flotilla". The ship remained in RAN service until 1946, and was sold for scrap a year later.
