HMCS Shearwater was a commissioned sloop and later submarine tender serving in the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), and saw Canadian service through the First World War. A Condor class sloop originally commissioned HMS Shearwater (1900) for the Royal Navy (RN), she was built at HM Dockyard, Sheerness, and was launched 10 February 1900. By the 1910s she had become one of the two last remaining warships in the RN's Pacific Squadron based at Esquimalt, British Columbia.
