High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! HMS Echo was an E class destroyer of the Royal Navy. She was launched by Denny in 1934. She sank a U boat in 1943 and was transferred to Greece in 1944. The ship had a small part in the movie Q Planes (1939). The E and F class was a class of 18 destroyers of the Royal Navy that served during the Second World War. Three ships were later transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy, one to the Royal Hellenic Navy and one to the Dominican Navy.
