High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! HMS Escapade was an E-class destroyer of the Royal Navy and the first ship with this name. She was launched by Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company in 1934 and sank a U-boat in 1940. She had a hedgehog fitted in place of her A gun and her Y gun was removed to compensate for the additional depth charges she carried aft. She was broken up after the war in 1947.
