High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! HMS K10 was a K class submarine built by Vickers, Barrow-in-Furness. She was laid down on 28 June 1915. She was commissioned on 26 June 1917. K10 was sold on 4 November 1921. K10 foundered in tow on 10 January 1922. The K class submarines were a class of steam-propelled submarines of the Royal Navy designed in 1913. Intended as large, fast vessels which had the endurance and speed to operate with the battle fleet, they gained notoriety, and the nickname of Kalamity class, for being involved in many accidents.
