On 11 March, 2009, HMS Ramsey and HMS Blyth returned from a two and a half year deployment in the Middle East to their homeport at HMNB Clyde. During this time the crews of those ships were rotated on and off with eight different crews based in the UK. Current Commanding Officer is Lieutenant Commander Sarah West RN.
