High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Hombres G is a Spanish rock band formed in Spain in 1982. They are widely considered one of Spain's most important groups of the late 1980s and 1990s. Hombres G have released 10 official albums, starred in two movies, performed hundreds of concerts, and sold millions of albums across Spain and the Americas. At the time of release of their two movies, over 6,000 people covered the Gran Via madrilena in Spain and Peru's Lima Airport was nearly closed due to the 20,000 fans that covered the landing runway. Several tribute albums such as, Voy a pasarmelo bien, un tributo a Hombres G, have been made in their honor. Their songs remain significant in 1980s Spanish music, including Devuelveme a mi chica and Sueltate el pelo, which were ranked among VH1 Latinoamerica's "100 Grandiosas Canciones de los 80's en Espanol".
