A four-level teenage course combining exciting new material with all the features that made the original Hotline so popular. This edition of Hotline retains all the strengths of the original course, but is reinforced and updated with the addition of improved features. Among the new features: beginning at Elementary level, guided writing sections gradually replace project work, providing a stronger focus on writing skills; activities are clearly labelled as "optional" in the Student`s Books to help the teacher select the right balance of core and optional material for their own timetable requirements; activities are cross-referenced to a new grammar reference section which provides a clear explanation of the grammar syllabus; reading texts are recorded on to the course cassettes to provide a clear pronunciation model; a new "Learning to learn" feature encourages students to take more control of their own learning needs.
