JoAnn Giordano is an American textile artist and curator who has exhibited since 1977. An international artist, her work has shown in Mexico and Japan. She has exhibited at prestigious American venues, including the Cleveland Museum of Art. A popular art educator, Giordano has taught classes since 1979, including classes sponsored by the Cleveland Museum of Art, LaGuardia Community College, Young Audiences of Greater Cleveland, and Kent State University. She has designed curricula in the contemporary art quilt, painting, and printing with dye on fabric, and similar subjects. Giordano has been acknowledged for her curatorial skills in the Detroit, Michigan region. At the Creative Arts Center on 47 Williams Avenue in Pontiac, Michigan, she juried their The Day of the Dead: A Celebration exhibition.
