High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! John T. Chambers (born August 23, 1949) is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Cisco Systems, Inc. Chambers joined Cisco in 1991 as senior vice president, Worldwide Sales and Operations. Since January 1995, when he assumed the role of CEO, the company has grown from $1.2 billion in annual revenues to its current run-rate of approximately $40 billion. In November 2006, he was named Chairman of the Board, in addition to his CEO role. Prior to joining Cisco, he spent eight years at Wang Laboratories (1982–1990) and six years with IBM (1976–1982). Chambers served on the Board of Directors of myCFO.
