High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! King of the Cage, also known as KOTC, is a mixed martial arts (MMA) promoter based in Southern California. KOTC was founded in 1998 by Terry Trebilcock. KOTC features up and coming MMA stars as well as experienced combat fighters. KOTC has promoted a majority of its events at Native American casinos throughout the United States. KOTC also promotes events in Canada and Australia. Many MMA superstars began their careers with KOTC including former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Diego Sanchez, Paul Buentello, Joe Stevenson, Keith Jardine, Urijah Faber, The Ultimate Fighter 2 Heavyweight Winner and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans, The Ultimate Fighter 6 winner Mac Danzig and now KOTC Canada's very own Tim Hague who on May 23, 2009 won his UFC 98 debut against Patrick Barry.
