Kyriakos Kassis, son of Dimitrios (March, 1946 -) born and bred in the land of Laconia, is a multidimensional personality that was involved and has been distinguished in a lot of and different sectors, as poetry, painting, history, writing, providing big impulse in the studied sectors. He studied at the Legal Faculty of the University of Athens, in the department of Law, Political and Economic studies and in the Stavrakou Faculty, the art of cinema and filmmaking. It developed anti-dictatorial action from 1968 until 1974. He rekindled the study of our popular culture, giving it breadth and depth. He made big sections and inversions in the Ancient and the newer Greek History and also the wider European area. He has travelled invited to give lectures in Institutions of Higher Education in Greece and abroad, such as Germany, France, India, Australia, Istanbul, Sofia and Bucharest.
