He is a 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) and 185 lb (84 kg) shooting guard. Hughes attended Saint Louis University and was the eight pick in the 1998 NBA Draft, selected by the Philadelphia 76ers. In his 12 seasons in the NBA, he has played for seven teams.
