Leer en espanol is suitable both for self study and for classroom use. It is organized into four sections, with five units each. Each section deals with a specific topic from different and supplementary points of view. Although the main objective of this course is to develop reading comprehension skills, the rest of communicative skills are totally incorporated. There is an answer key at the back of the book.
